——记武汉市医疗救治中心二期工程开工仪式
2013年11月7日，武汉市医疗救治中心二期工程开工仪式如期举行，与以往不同的是，仪式没有嘉宾领导，没有红地毯，没有鲜花，没有乐队，只有院领导的短短一分钟动员和全体行政后勤干部职工挥汗如雨义务劳动的场面，这是我院自开展党的群众教育实践活动以来，积极响应市卫计委要求，倡导俭约办院，坚决反对“四风”的又一举措。
作为全国六大传染病区域医疗中心之一的武汉市医疗救治中心，是湖北省唯一一所集临床医疗、教学、科研于一体的传染病医院，二期工程的建设是在政府的支持下，是为改善医院服务环境，构建我市一流的传染病防护体系的一项重大工程，工程总建筑面积14661.69㎡，病床数260张。如此重大事情，医院职工猜想此次开工仪式必会彩旗飘飘、声势浩大，会邀请各级领导莅临……。但随着“武汉市医疗救治中心二期工程正式开工！”的落音，开工仪式就这么“低调”的完成了。
二期工程从简的开工仪式再一次让全院职工体会到了医院领导反对铺张浪费、行俭约之风务实办院的决心，职工们也备受鼓舞，纷纷自觉来到工地现场，拿起铁锹与推车，用自己的行动与汗水为开工庆祝！
